When we came to Fort Ashby, the summer of 1995, Chantel and I had no idea of the great things God had in store for us in this sleepy little town, with one stop-light! Our one and only child Lauren was five then and in the first grade, but we had a peace about moving here from northern Virginia with our little girl and putting down some roots.

It was our desire to pastor a church that enjoyed celebrating big days and making it somewhere that you actually looked forward to coming. We wanted to be a church that was intentional about reaching out to our community through productions and giveaways so that many would come to find life in Christ. It was important to us to minister to all ages, from the nursery up to the seniors.

Today, 20 years later, I am honored to say, The Grace Place is that church! And today we want to welcome you and say that we’re so glad that you’re a part of our growing family!

Just as we are, I hope that you’ll be excited about what God’s doing here and become involved and join our “Dream Team.” It’s the desire of our hearts that each one of you will EXPERIENCE God’s Grace, LIVE IT and SHARE IT with others!
